Important Rental Policies & Fine Print (For Your Reservety Settings)
- Tow Vehicle Requirements: The renting vehicle must be a minimum 3/4-ton (2500 series) or 1-ton truck equipped with a Class IV/V frame receiver and a fully functioning onboard electric brake controller.
- Electrical Plug: Requires a standard 7-way RV-style round plug to power the running lights and activate the trailer’s electric brakes.
- Load Balancing Warning: Machinery must always be loaded facing forward to place roughly 10% to 15% of the total cargo weight directly on the tongue to prevent dangerous high-speed trailer sway.
- Battery Maintenance: The hydraulic pump is self-contained, but for long multi-day rentals, the trailer should remain plugged into the towing vehicle’s 7-way harness while driving to trickle-charge the tilt battery.
